OUR HISTORY

Ironhorse Bar and Event Room resides in the former Lincoln Hide and Fur Company building at 728 Q Street and opened in September 2016. The building was first constructed in 1909 for Carter Transfer & Storage to supplement their other building housed on 8th Street in the Haymarket.  It was later used by the Lincoln Hide and Fur Company. In 1993 it was renovated into offices and retail space with modern amenities.

OUR SPACE

The building is now home to Ironhorse Bar and Event Room. This unique venue is filled with original industrial details. It features exposed brick, a fireplace, built in book cases, wooden, and leather details. The space is enhanced by the original iron wheels of the elevator filling the ceiling above the bar.

Ironhorse is located in the heart of Lincoln’s Historic Haymarket. It is an ideal venue for rehearsal dinners, receptions, birthdays, showers, holiday parties, corporate events, fundraisers, tailgates, and meetings.

We are steps away from the Railyard and only a few blocks from Memorial Stadium.  You’ll find a variety of hotels within walking distance for you or guests. Explore the Haymarket’s preserved buildings, visit unique shops, boutiques, and art galleries.
